Later the remainder of the site became the Romanni Nart Park, officially opening on August 7, 1999 by Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn.
The three men were sent to Bambat remand centre at Klong Prem Central Prison, but after plotting an escape attempt were moved to "Maha Chai" the Special Bangkok Metropolitan Prison on Maha Chai Road (now the Bangkok Corrections Museum).
