The European Society for Analytic Philosophy (ESAP) is a philosophical organization founded by Kevin Mulligan Barry Smith, Peter Simons, Pierre Jacob, Marco Santambrogio, Andreas Kemmerling, and Pascal Engel in 1991.
Barry-Smith made his directorial debut at the 2001 4MBS Festival with Purcell's Dido and Aeneas in which he also sang the role of Æneas; this production won him the Perform 4MBS Award for Opera Production.
The store was opened in February 1992 by two founders Jerry Brock and Barry Smith on Peters Street in the French Quarter.
