Born in Heredia, Costa Rica, on August 20, 1781, he married on June 17, 1804 in Barva.

In October 1821 he was appointed representative of the City Council of Barva on the Board of Legacy of the councils which met at Cartago from October 25–26, 1821 to discuss the independence of Costa Rica from Spain.
Don Cleto was born in Barva, Heredia on October 13, 1858 as the son of Cleto González Pérez and Aurora Víquez Murillo.
More recent ones (1500–300 BC) have been discovered in the Turrialba Valley, the coastal region of Gandoca, the northern plains, Sarapiquí Basin, Barva, Herradura, the Térraba River Basin, the Coto Colorado River Basin and Isla del Caño.
