Russo has performed for numerous charitable benefits including Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, Covenant House, The Painted Turtle, The Prince's Trust, breast cancer research, Hurricane Katrina relief, Blythedale Children's Hospital, Rock Against Cancer, and Queen AIDS charity concert.

In addition to running its own self-funded rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing centre, Halo Dogs regularly supports other dog rescue charities including Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, The Mayhew Animal Home, Animals In Distress (A.I.D) and Pup Aid.
She is the president of the Ulster Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (USPCA) and a trustee of the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
