During the 1960s and 70's the managers of the club lasted for about two years each: Reg Smith took over from Ronnie Rook followed by Basil Hayward in 1963, Ron Burgess 1965, Ron Heckman 1967, Alan Wright 1969, and Reg Smith again in 1971.
