Belemnitida, an extinct order of cephalopods commonly known as "belemnites"
The site, whose exact location had not been publicly disclosed, became most famous for squid-like cephalopods and belemnites, complete with their phosphatized soft parts.
Later on, they had an anthropomorphic appearance: they usually had birds’ claws for feet, appear like women with a heads or lower body of she-goats, half-human / half bitch or half mare (like Centaurs), had only one eye (like Cyclops), had large breasts with stone nipples (pieces of Belemnitida found on ground were called Laumės nipples).
According to folklorist Adrienne Mayor, these supposed arrowheads were likely fossil belemnites, which were compared to missiles by other indigenous American cultures, like the Zuni people.
