Take On Helicopters

Take On Helicopters includes three distinct classes of helicopter: light (MD500 based), medium (Bell 412 based) and heavy (AW101 Merlin based).


Bardufoss Air Station

It is the location off the Royal Norwegian Air Force 139 Air Wing and two helicopter squadrons; the 337 Squadron operating Lynx MK 86 for the Norwegian Coast Guard and the 339 Squadron equipped with Bell 412SPs.

Gatari Air Service

Gatari was founded in 1983 with six Bell 412 helicopters; 80 per cent of the company was owned by Tommy Suharto, while the remaining 20 per cent belonged to Bob Hasan.

Miho-Yonago Airport

The Japan Coast Guard established a base at Miho in 1978 and has operated Bell 212, Bell 412 (1996) and AgustaWestland AW139 (2009) helicopters and Bombardier DHC-8 (2011) fixed-wing aircraft there.

The Royal Norwegian Air Force operates various squadron and aircraft at the airbase, including Sea King helicopters, F-5 Freedom Fighters, Dassault Falcon 20 aircraft as well as Bell 412 helicopters.
