In May 2011, the orchestra announced the appointment of Joshua Bell as its new music director, the second person to hold the title in the orchestra's history, effective September 2011, with an initial contract of 3 years.
The Hyperbow interface was featured in Toy Symphony performances with violinists Joshua Bell and Cora Venus Lunny, and several pieces for cello and Hyperbow have recently been developed and recorded by colleagues at the Royal Academy of Music.
Local schools and home schooled children have been invited to the campus to share in performances by guests such as Joshua Bell, The 5 Browns, Salvatore Licitra, Nestor Torres and Regina Carter.

Chosei Komatsu has collaborated with numerous international solo artists, such as violinists Joshua Bell, James Ehnes, Hilary Hahn, Cho-Liang Lin, Midori Goto, Gil Shaham; cellist Jian Wang; and pianists Leon Fleisher, Lang Lang, Roger Wright, Jeffrey Kahane, Ikuyo Kamiya, Yu Kosuge, and Michie Koyama.
Eventually, however, Yo Yo Ma, the preeminent cellist of his era, referred her to Samuel Zygmuntowicz, a contemporary master violin maker in Brooklyn, NY, who has made sound-alike copies of great antique Stradivarius and Guarnerius violins for such violin superstars as Isaac Stern and Joshua Bell.
The festival's seventh season was held in July 2012 and included performances by Joshua Bell, Danielle de Niese, Nathan Gunn and the Russian National Orchestra, among others.

With his strong commitment to chamber music, Kraggerud performs both on violin and viola at the major international festivals, recent collaborations have included a Szymanowski Focus at Wigmore Hall in London and Zankel Hall in New York, curated by Piotr Anderszewski, and performances at the Verbier Festival with Joshua Bell, Leonidas Kavakos and Martha Argerich.

De Silva has accompanied violin virtuosos Itzhak Perlman, Cho-Liang Lin, Midori, Joshua Bell, Vadim Repin, Gil Shaham, Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg and others at venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall, Alice Tully Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Library of Congress, the Philadelphia Academy of Music, the Ambassador Theater in Los Angeles, and concert halls in Europe, Japan and Israel.
The label owns rights to famous recordings dating from the 20th century and late 19th century, by artists such as Enrico Caruso, Arturo Toscanini, Mario Lanza, Fritz Reiner, Artur Rubinstein, Jascha Heifetz, Vladimir Horowitz, Eugene Ormandy and Van Cliburn as well as from more recent performers such as Yo-Yo Ma, and Joshua Bell.
