The album's first single, "Silver Screen Shower Scene" contains a sample of the Ben Liebrand remax of The Flirts single "Passion", and "Harlot" contains an unaccredited sample of the drum pattern from The Human League track, "The Sound of the Crowd".

The song – an answer song to Run-D.M.C.'s "Sucker M.C.s (Krush-Groove 1)" – did not sell in quantity upon its first release, but Ben Liebrand reworked the song in 1990, including a sample of the theme song from the American sitcom, I Dream of Jeannie.
Once More into the Bleach spun off two single releases: "Denis", a remix by Dancin' Danny D which is the first official Blondie remix single (also known as "Denis '88") and "Call Me", a remix by Ben Liebrand.
