The Battles of Bergisel were four battles fought between the forces of Emperor Napoleon I of France and the Kingdom of Bavaria against Tyrolean militiamen and a contingent of Austrian regular soldiers at the Bergisel hill near Innsbruck.
Bystøl won his first, and so far only, World Cup event on January 4, 2006, by winning the third event of the Four Hills Tournament at Bergisel.
The Localbahn Museum is located in the old Stubaital station at the foot of the Bergisel hill, next to the present-day depot of the Innsbruck Transport Company (Innsbrucker Verkehrsbetriebe).
