Beslan Ardzinba

On 20 September 2007, an anti-tank grenade was fired from an RPG-26 launcher at Beslan Ardzinba's Mercedes-Benz E-220 while it was driving down the coastal road near the village of Blabyrkhua, Gudauta District.

The then mayor of Croatia's capital Zagreb, Vlasta Pavić, offered a free vacation to the Beslan children on the Adriatic Sea.

During Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov's visit to China in November 2005, the Chinese Health Ministry announced that they were sending doctors to Beslan, and offered free medical care to any of the victims who still needed treatment.

On 29 March 2005, newly elected President Sergei Bagapsh replaced Beslan Dbar as the Head of Gudauta's Administration by Daur Vozba.
