He left the band in 2002 to join the new supergroup formed in by former Helloween members Roland Grapow and Uli Kusch, with Norwegian vocalist Jorn Lande (former member of bands Ark and Beyond Twilight), called Masterplan.
Epysode boasted an outstanding cast of musicians and vocalists, including Kristoffer Gildenlöw, Léo Margarit (PAIN OF SALVATION), Christophe Godin (GNÔ, METAL KARTOON), Julien Spreutels (ETHERNITY), Kelly Sundown (BEYOND TWILIGHT, DARKOLOGY, ADAGIO), Oddleif Stensland (COMMUNIC), Liselotte Hegt (AYREON, DIAL) and Rick Altzi (AT VANCE, THUNDERSTONE).
This was backed up by a statement Pyramaze released that the band's producer, Jacob Hansen, formerly of Invocator, Anubis Gate, and Beyond Twilight, would be joining as guitarist, as well as continuing to mix the band's albums.
