Built by a M. Janémian in Bièvres, Essonne, they had rear engines, transversely mounted, with chain drive to the rear wheels which were set closely together.
Around 1875, she began a relationship with the baron Félix Hippolyte Larrey, medical chief of the army and son of the celebrated Larrey, and inherited his fortune (including his small château at Bièvres, Essonne).
La Tristesse d'Olympio ("The Sadness of Olympio", 1837) describes a man returning to Bièvres, Essonne to revisit memories of an old love affair.
In Spain he offered master classes at the Madrid Superior Royal Conservatory of Music and in France during the International Music Encounter in the city of Bièvres and at the Bourges International Festival.
