Billy and Percy is a 1974 Australian TV movie based on journals kept by Percy Dean, private secretary to Australian Prime Minister Billy Hughes.
He played a key role in preparing the prosecution in the Coal Vend cases, arising out of prosecutions brought by then Attorney-General of Australia Billy Hughes against a coal industry cartel.
That occurred on 8 April 1935 with the death of David Watkins, leaving Billy Hughes as the inaugural Father of the House of Representatives.
Created by writer Billy Hughes and coloured by artist of little renown Dave Osenni, The Adventures of Jack Ransom was 12 issue comic book series based around the titular adventures of fictional character Jack Ransom.

His eulogy was delivered by the Archbishop of Melbourne, and both Prime Minister Billy Hughes and Leader of the Opposition Matthew Charlton attended his funeral.
In 1915 he was asked by the Prime Minister of Australia W. M. Hughes to act as Chairman of a Committee to draw up a scheme for a Commonwealth Institute of Science and Industry, but difficulties arose and it was not until 1920 that the Institute was established.
