Jakob Ernst von Liechtenstein-Kastelkorn, the later Bishop of Olomouc, established a Piarist college on his inherited Bílá Voda estates in 1723, a response to the 1707 Convention of Altranstädt granting religious freedom to the Silesian Protestants.
Thurzo first married Ursula Boehm and the couple had three sons: György Thurzó who married Anna Fugger, later György Thurzó became the major of Kraków; another son of János, became the archbishop of Breslau (today Wroclaw); and their third son became the bishop of Olomouc.
Poglietti also had friends among Austrian nobility, among them Count Anton Franz von Collalto and Karl II von Liechtenstein-Kastelkorn, Prince-Bishop of Olomouc—in 1672 Poglietti inherited estates near their residences.
