Brackley

In 2001 the X38 Oxford-Northampton express service became the X6 with the introduction of the 88 to serve villages en route to Northampton (such as Towcester, Blisworth and Milton Malsor).

Cotton End, Northampton

The Northampton Branch of the Grand Union Canal from Blisworth runs adjacent to the north of the site, just soutth of the River Nene, joining with the river via a lock.

Northampton and Peterborough Railway

The Northampton and Peterborough Railway was an early railway promoted by the London and Birmingham Railway to run from a junction at Blisworth to Northampton and Peterborough.

However, in the end, it bypassed the town, following higher ground to the west, through Blisworth and Weedon.
