Shields later worked with J Mascis and Martina Topley-Bird, and he recorded sessions with brother Kevin for My Bloody Valentine that have yet to be released.
In December 2009, the band performed at the My Bloody Valentine-curated All Tomorrow's Parties festival 'A Nightmare Before Christmas'.
