BlueLine is a product of Bratton Technologies, Inc., a company founded by NYPD Police Commissioner Bill Bratton, Jack Weiss and David Riker with founding team members Michael Mancuso, Daniel Geske, Jill Yorke, Mark McCorkle, Alison Shames, and Stef Weiss.
At Maine, he was a teammate of his younger brother Dave Capuano and played on the same blueline as future NHLers Eric Weinrich and Bob Beers along with future Vancouver Canucks executive Dave Nonis.
He played sparingly for the Sabres, but was inserted into their lineup during the 2006 Stanley Cup Playoffs to fill one of the holes on their blueline created by injuries to Dmitri Kalinin, Teppo Numminen, and Henrik Tallinder.
