On 16 July 2013, aged 34, he moved abroad for the very first time, signing a two-year contract with Israeli club Bnei Sakhnin FC – he had just been banned from playing in his country while investigations were carried out to determine whether or not he was involved in match-fixing when he represented Hércules.
This win is significant because aside from the lack of funding, Bnei Sakhnin F.C. is also notable for being composed mostly of Arab players in the predominately Jewish state.
After leaving Maccabi Herzliya, Krupnik joined Bnei Sakhnin for the second half of the 2006–07 season and helped the club gain promotion to the Israeli Premier League.
He made his premier league debut on 30 May 2008, coming on as a substitute in a match against Bnei Sakhnin.
