Born October 1, 1924, in Algona, Iowa, Geigel entered the navy after high school and fought in the Pacific Theatre during World War II as a member of the Seabees.

In part to an agreement with Sweetan and Leo Burke, Prosser and Sweetan( being the same person) began wrestling in the Kansas City-area as Killer Kox and K.O. Kox with Bob Geigel's NWA Central States.
Numerous wrestling matches were held at Metropolitan Stadium, including contests featuring Hard Boiled Haggerty, Bob Geigel, Wilbur Snyder, Kay Noble, Lord Littlebrook, Verne Gagne, Gene Kiniski, Rene Goulet, Larry Hennig, Hans Schmidt, Mad Dog Vachon and Dick the Bruiser.
Throughout the 1960s, Sarpolis and Funk, Sr. had working agreements with Sam Muchnick, Verne Gagne, Bob Geigel and Jim Barnett.
Perez had a brief but successful stint with Bob Geigel's Central States promotion, which saw Perez unsuccessfully challenge Danny Little Bear for the promotion's regional title in Kansas City and feud with Black Angus Campbell.
