Due to their ESC victory, Bobbysocks! were awarded with the Peer Gynt Prize in 1985, which is awarded by the Stortinget, Norway's parliament.
1985 Eurovision Song Contest winners Bobbysocks were special guests, and they performed their winning song La det swinge, and a new song entitled Midnight Rocks during the show.
Krogh represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 1971 and reached the 17th position, 14 years later she won in the band Bobbysocks.
The song was performed twelfth on the night, following Israel's Izhar Cohen with "Olé, Olé" and preceding Norway's Bobbysocks with "La det swinge".
