Boholano writers

There are hundreds of published Boholano writers (or Bol-anon writers) from the time Boholano literature emerged since the time of Boholano priestess Karyapa before the arrival of the Spaniards.

Kadingilan, Bukidnon

The original occupants were slowly replenished by Cebuanos, Boholanos, Warays and Igorots/Ifugaos.

Surigaonon language

Surigaonon and Tandaganon can understandand each other perfectly well even if they use their own languages when talking to each other (The same treatment to Boholano dialect of Cebuano).

According to Dumanig (2005), Surigaonon has a similar phonological inventory as her sister Visayan languages, Cebuano and Boholano.
