Jacques Bolle (1959-), a former French Grand Prix motorcycle road racer
The Bolle's Pigeon (Columba bollii) is a species of Columba genus of the family Columbidae, of doves and pigeons, which is endemic to the Canary Islands, Spain.
Bolle was a founder member of the Deutsche Ornithologen-Gesellschaft (German Ornithological Society) in 1867, succeeding Alfred Brehm as Chairman in 1884.

A lavender-type growing on the Canary Islands was named "Lavandula minutolii" in May 1860 by the botanist Carl Bolle in Julius's honour.
The Monte del Agua is, together with the mountains of Anaga, the main representation on the island of Tenerife of the Canarian Monte Verde and is still relatively well-conserved, among other reasons, as a result of the steepness of the terrain, furrowed by a large number of deep ravines and sheltering in its immense mass of forest one of the best populations of the endemic White-Tailed Laurel Pigeon and Bolle’s Laurel Pigeon.

Beginning his career as a model for Bolle sunglasses in the late 1990s, he also appeared in commercials for Wave flavoured milk and Sportsco in Australia, as well as Hyundai and Telecom Korea in Korea.
Bolle’s Spring 2010 American Ballet Theater performances include The Lady of the Camellias, Swan Lake, La Bayadère, and Romeo and Juliet.
