She has been married since December 1999 to Steve Worland, the screenwriter of the Fox Searchlight feature film Bootmen (2000).
The Tap Dogs story has gone on to immortalised in the movie Bootmen, directed by Dein Perry and inspired by his Tap Dogs experiences.
