The Borgward Kolibri (Kolibri meaning "hummingbird" in German) was a German three-seated utility helicopter built by Borgward, designed by Heinrich Focke.
After intensive training to become an engineer, he eventually went to work in Bremen for Carl F. W. Borgward.

Hubert Michael Meingast (June 28, 1911 in Ebelsberg bei Linz, Austria - August 29, 1961 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) was an engineer and scientist who worked for the Borgward group, based in Bremen.
In the issue of 18 September 1959 a competition was launched where a Borgward motor car worth £919 was the first prize and the second prize was a radio worth £90.
