Bosanska Krajina

Željava Air Base, situated on the border between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina under Plješevica Mountain, near the town of Bihać in Bosnia and Herzegovina, was the largest underground airport and military airbase in the former Yugoslavia and one of the largest in Europe.

In January 1528, the Ottomans under Gazi Husrev-beg took command of Jajce, Banja Luka and Ključ, followed by Krbava and Lika in the spring of that year.


Drvar

Drvar lies in the vast valley, the southeastern part of Bosanska Krajina, between the Osječenica, Klekovača, Vijenca and Šator mountains of the Dinaric Alps.
