He had developed a very characteristic style escaping genre categorization, including trip hop, drum'n bass and classical music, combined with Afro-Brazilian sounds like Bossanova and Musica Axé.
The three band members lived in the Oakwood apartments, along with comic Garrett Morris and members of the band White Lion.

Two singles were released from Bossanova, "Velouria" and "Dig for Fire"; both charted, at #4 and #11 respectively on the US Modern Rock Tracks chart.
Moses Schneider first worked as an assistant engineer during the mid and late eighties at Sinus Studio and from 1987 until 1989 in the Hansa Tonstudio in Berlin where he received one of his first international credits as engineer on Pixies' "Bossanova".
