Chellah was a significant ancient port city town with remains including the Decumanus Maximus, or principal way, as well as those of a forum, a monumental fountain, a triumphal arch, and other Roman ruins.
The stadium held 4,000 people before its destruction in 2006 for the Bou Regreg development project.
