An unofficial club originated in his apartment in Brandýs during the 1950s - it served as a meeting place for his friends where they could read their writings and discuss innovations in the world of arts.
It was described in the essay of Marian Brandys, The Guardian of the King's Tomb (1984), based on the long correspondence of Brandys with Charyton.
She has created dozens of monumental sculptures for public areas (for example in Čížkov, Ostrava—Landek, Brandýs nad Labem, Poděbrady, Prague - Prosek and Prague - Smíchov.)
