His second release, 1996's Out of Body, is a progressive rock album featuring guitarist Brett Garsed, whom Rock played with in the band Nelson, and bassist Carl "The Fox" Carter, who was a classmate of Rock's at Berklee.
Together with Australian guitarist Brett Garsed, the duo helped define the direction of instrumental guitar music throughout the '90s and establish the genre now known as "Rock Fusion".
