Lucia Medzihradská (born 14 November 1968 in Brezno) is a Slovak former alpine skier who competed for Czechoslovakia in the 1988 Winter Olympics, 1992 Winter Olympics, and 1994 Winter Olympics.
The county's territory was situated along the central Hron river, approximately between (excluding) Krupina and (including) Brezno.

It is situated in the Banská Bystrica and Brezno districts and encompasses the upper Hron River valley and the surrounding Low Tatra mountain ranges.
Muránska planina (translated as Muráň Plateau or Muráň Plain) is a plateau-like region in central Slovakia, between Brezno, Červená Skala (part of Šumiac), Muráň and Tisovec.
The castle was heavily remodeled in the second half of the 19th century; the majority of the interior furnishings date from this period, as do the castle parkgrounds, which are characterized by numerous meadows connected by riding and walking paths, bordered with numerous chestnut and linden tree rows, and which contain two small artificial lakes filled by Obrh and Brezno creeks.
