Shipp ended his career with the No. 3 position on the Bears' all-time scoring list, while teammate Brian Wethers finished in the No. 15 position.
In 2004-05, his first season back with the Sixers, he averaged 23.5 point per game and won the club's Most Valuable Player award and finished second to Brian Wethers in the league MVP award.
