The loading area featured panels with the three Indy events: the Indianapolis 500, the Brickyard 400 and the United States Grand Prix.
Methodist Hospital is the official hospital for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway: all drivers injured at the Indianapolis 500 and Brickyard 400 are transported there for treatment.
The band has also performed in halftime programs for the Chicago Bears and the Indianapolis Colts, and has been the featured group at the Brickyard 400, beginning that tradition with the inaugural race in 1994.

In addition, DWM briefly expanded to two cars, when Rich Bickle finished 34th at that year's Brickyard 400 the #26 Kentucky Fried Chicken Chevy also fielded by DWM, as well as Waltrip running special paint schemes to commemorate his 25th year in the sport.
In 2002, Evernham found success with his new program by witnessing Mayfield win the Winston Open, as well as Bill Elliott winning back to back in the Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono and The Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
