As of April 2012, thirty three ambassadors from the worlds of television, film, sport and cuisine support the Trust including comedian Sanjeev Bhaskar, cricketer Isa Guha, celebrity chef Atul Kochhar, BBC News presenter Mishal Husain and entrepreneur James Caan.
He is chairman of the British Asian Trust (part of the Prince of Wales' Charities organisation) and of the Prince’s Charities Events Ltd., as well as chairman of Operation Smile UK, a children's charity treating facial deformities such as cleft lips and cleft palates all around the world.
The Prince's charity the British Asian Trust will utilise its expertise on leading the project assessment process as well as assisting developing fundraising.
