Sir Richard was the father of Walter (died 1432) and Uileag Carragh, who were the ancestor of the Burkes of Castleconnell and Brittas, and Burkes of Cois tSiúire, respectively.
Mansfield was born in on 9 April 1939 and was raised in Brittas, South Dublin.
Charles died without issue on 17 May 1617, his heir been his nephew, Brian Óg Ó Duinn or Barnaby O Doyne, who was the ancestor to the family of Dunne of Brittas.
His branch of the family successfully made the transition from Gaelic-Irish to Anglo-Irish culture, and were based at Brittas.
Theobald was later created Baron of Brittas in 1618, and Edmund, having established his legitimacy, continued the line of the Barons of Castleconnell.
