On May 30, 1946 at Ebbets Field, Rowell hit a home run which broke the Bulova clock on the stadium's scoreboard, shattering the clock's glass.
The northern portion of Holmes Airport's land was later developed into the Bulova watch factory site.
On 15 September 2007, the club announced that it has secured a large sponsorship from Bulova, a watch brand which used to fund a famous Hong Kong football team decades ago, and used "Bulova Rangers" as the team name.
It was followed by a Bulova factory in 1964, the Léchot company in 1961, LNS company in 1973 and Precimed in 1988.
On one wrist, the man wore a yellow gold Bulova Accutron watch bearing the serial number H918803.
