Bushnell-Prairie City High School (BPCHS) is a public four-year high school located at 845 North Walnut Street in Bushnell, Illinois, a small city in McDonough County, Illinois, in the Midwestern United States.

Bushnell won the James Lynah Distinguished Achievement Award from the ECAC in 1959 as an outstanding athletic administrator.
Looking for outside investors, in 1976 Bushnell sold Atari to Warner Communications for an estimated $28–32 million, using part of the money to buy the Folgers Mansion.
In 1881 South Dakota College was founded in nearby Brookings, and Bushnell's economy began to decline as the population shifted to the new college town.
Bushnell was a first cousin of David Bushnell of Saybrook, Connecticut, who designed and built the first submarine used in war, against the British in 1776, and a first cousin of the theologian Horace Bushnell, of Hartford, Connecticut.
During the run up to the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, the BBC produced the film Bert and Dickie (also called Going For Gold: The '48 Games), depicting Burnell and Bushnell's achievement at the 1948 Games, with Sam Hoare portraying Burnell, and Bushnell portrayed by Doctor Who actor Matt Smith.
In the late 1880s, Glenn Terrell's grandparents, Rev. William Henry Terrell and Lizzie Crawford Terrell, moved from Daleville, Mississippi, to Bushnell, Florida, Sumter County, Florida, north of Tampa.
