Centre D'Esports L'Hospitalet was founded in 1957, through of merger of the three teams from the city: UD Hospitalet, CD Santa Eulalia and CF Hércules.

Kabiru Akinsola Olarewaju (born 21 January 1991 in Imo State), known as Akinsola, is a Nigerian footballer who plays for CE L'Hospitalet in Spain, as a forward.
