Started 7 January 2008, CNBC-TV18 had patterned its graphics, some parts of the lower-thirds, title cards to the main network (CNBC) in the United States and unlike the regional channel, its graphics are in 3d.
During 2007 and 2008 he presented for international business news network CNBC Asia where he hosted Squawk Australia from the channel's new studio centre in Sydney.
Hizon then joined CNBC Asia in April 1995, based in Hong Kong and later in Singapore, where he was the main anchor of the morning edition of CNBC Today, Squawk Box, Market Watch and Power Lunch.
Prior to Martin Soong's original departure from CNBC Asia, he was the programme's regular presenter (the programme was billed as Asia Market Wrap with Martin Soong).
Later on, Finance Asia named him Best CEO for 2009/2010 and he received the CNBC Asia Business Leader Award in 2010.
Worldwide Exchange replaced Wake Up Call, an early morning pre-market program on CNBC US; Morning Exchange, a mid-morning program on CNBC Europe; as well as Asia Market Wrap and CNBC Tonight on CNBC Asia, a daily wrap-up of the top business news in Asia.
