In February 2006, USSF decided that the Supporters' Shield winner and the MLS Cup winner would represent the United States in the CONCACAF Champions League, formerly the CONCACAF Champions' Cup.

Players who were on the roster but never played a first team game are not listed; players who appeared for the team in other competitions (Open Canada Cup, CONCACAF Champions League, etc.) but never actually made an USL appearance are noted at the bottom of the page where appropriate.
The stadium, however, does not meet the standards of CONCACAF, therefore CONCACAF Champions League matches are played at the Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City.

It is not known what stadium is Alpha United's permanent home, although Providence Stadium near Georgetown is serving as the host venue for United in the CONCACAF Champions League.
In January 2011, the Nicaraguan FA (FENIFUT) suspended Collado from playing football pending an investigation relating him to Wilson Raj Perumal and he was subsequently accused of trying to fix matches in the CONCACAF Champions League in the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons.
