The Cadaqués Orchestra (Orquesta de Cadaqués Spanish; Orquestra de Cadaqués Catalan) is a chamber orchestra based in Cadaqués, Catalonia, Spain.
At the beginning of the 1960s, he was a close friend of the French painter Maurice Boitel, who painted many pictures on the Pitxot family's property in Cadaqués, a small port town on the Balearic Sea near the French border, that was also painted by Pablo Picasso and André Derain.
With a budget of 9 million pesetas, the film was shot in studios in Barcelona and exteriors in Cadaques, Ampuriabrava (Girona) and Delta del Ebro (Tarragona).
