Camembert is a similar soft cheese, also made from cow's milk.
It looks similar to Camembert, with a dry, white, edible rind, but the taste is saltier and sharper.
By the 1970s famous riders were regularly participating and sometimes winning the race: riders such as Bernard Hinault and Joop Zoetemelk added celebrity and allure to the race.
