The Canard enchaîné of May 10, 2006 says he gave on 3 May 2004 to judge Renaud Van Ruymbeke the letter of Jean-Louis Gergorin speaking of a major international plot against EADS and of his actors detaining accounts in Luxembourg bank called Clearstream credited with illegal money.
At Le Canard enchaîné, his humorous columns included Le Journal de Xavière T, a spoof diary of Xavière Tiberi, the wife of Jean Tiberi, then mayor of Paris, and, from December 2007, Le Journal de Carla B, a spoof diary of Carla Bruni, wife of President Nicolas Sarkozy.
In the film L'Armée des Ombres, directed by Jean-Pierre Melville, the character Luc Jardie (played by Paul Meurisse), while in London during the German occupation of France during World War II, imagines that his fellow countrymen will be truly liberated when they can see American films and once more read Le Canard enchaîné, alluding to the censorship of the Vichy Regime.
