Together with the two flanking buildings, the 18th century restoration was mostly likely the design of Carl Hårleman.
It includes the Korsö lighthouse (Korsö torn) designed by architect Carl Hårleman and inaugurated in 1757 as the first lighthouse featuring a moving light beam.
Construction, according to designs by the architect Carl Hårleman, begun in 1748 and the building was completed in 1753.
