Henry I (c. 1175 – 1221), of the house of Millau, was the Count of Rodez and Viscount of Carlat from 1208 until his death.
Henry II (Occitan: Enric II de Rodés) (c. 1236–1304), of the House of Millau, was the Count of Rodez and Viscount of Carlat from 1274 until his death.
In 1230 Hugh eventually succeeded to Bénavent and Richard to the viscounty of Carlat.
After twice pardoning him, the king's patience became exhausted, and he besieged the duke's chateau at Carlat and imprisoned him.
James inherited from his father a realm including three of the Balearic Islands (Majorca, Ibiza and Formentera), the counties of Roussillon and Cerdanya, the dominion of Montpellier, the barony of Aumelàs, and the viscounty of Carladès.
In this way he greatly improved the state of his priorate and, upon his request, was released from his monastic vocation by his abbot to follow Alfonso II of Aragon, whose vassal the viscount of Carlat and lord of Vic was.

In 1489, he traded the viscounties of Carlat and Murat to Peter II, Duke of Bourbon for the county of l'Isle-Jourdain.
