She enjoys films, music and running, and participated in her first marathon – in London – in 2005.
In addition to that, in 2006, Abbot returned to the FM airwaves on a brief stint sitting in for Caroline Feraday's weekend show (10 pm– 1 am, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights) on LBC 97.3, from 10–19 February.
