He retains a visiting fellowship at Wolfson College, Cambridge, and has served as associate minister of Cambridge Presbyterian Church and Grace Presbyterian Church in Vienna, Virginia.

Chad Van Dixhoorn, a Canadian-born Reformed theologian and historian, is the editor of the five-volume The Minutes and Papers of the Westminster Assembly: 1643-1652 published by Oxford University Press in 2012.

Van Dixhoorn has lectured at RTS (Reformed Theological Seminary) DC since 2008, where he teaches church history and practical theology.
