Charged GBH, commonly known as GBH, are an English street punk band, formed in 1978 by vocalist Colin Abrahall, guitarist Colin "Jock" Blyth, bassist Sean McCarthy and Drummer Andy "Wilf" Williams.

Perfume and Piss is the eleventh studio album released by the punk rock band Charged GBH.

The Varukers

Bands such as The Varukers, Discharge, Chaos UK, Amebix, and Charged GBH took the existing 1977-era punk sound and melded it with the incessant, heavy drumbeats and "wall of sound" distortion guitar sound of New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) bands such as Motörhead.

The Virus

A month later they went to Morecambe, England to play at the Holidays In The Sun festival alongside bands like The Exploited, The Partisans, Charged GBH, U.K. Subs, Resistance 77, Threats and Cock Sparrer.


Black Market Magazine

Based in San Diego, Black Market Magazine initially featured mostly reviews / interviews of punk rock and other alternative bands such as Samhain, The Cramps, D.O.A., Tex and the Horseheads, G.B.H., New Order, Christian Death, Bad Religion, Ramones, Murphey's Law, Butthole Surfers, Wasted Youth, Danzig, Marilyn Manson, etc..

Final Warning

Among them: Dead Kennedys, Scream, Dr. Know, The Exploited, Charged GBH, Hüsker Dü, Minutemen, D.R.I. and Mercyful Fate, but they never played outside the Pacific Northwest.
