Pheleley Priory was a small 12th century priory located in a detached part of Bloxham, near Charlbury, in the English county of Oxfordshire.
Freeland grew as a ribbon development along the Via Regia between Eynsham and Charlbury.
Shipton-under-Wychwood is on the Oxfordshire Way footpath, which can be used to walk north-westwards up the Evenlode Valley to Bruern Abbey and Bledington, or eastwards down the valley to Charlbury.
