Finchley Central tube station

The main one, leading directly to the ticket hall, is from an access road on the north side of the tracks which for many years lacked a name, but on 13 November 2006 was named Chaville Way after one of Barnet's twin towns.

Louis-Gabriel Guillemain

He died in Chaville, then a small settlement near Paris, in 1770; some contemporary accounts describe his death as a bloody suicide, with the composer stabbing himself with a knife fourteen times.

Michel Averseng

In the 1990s, Averseng taught sculpture and drawing in Chaville.
